FAQ:

Sound baths offer a deeply immersive and transformative experience by enhancing your mind, body, & spirit connection. Sound baths are a great addition to your wellness practice.

Sound baths "bathe" you in the vibrations of the instruments played, leading you to deep states of relaxation, calmness, and can be a meditative experience.

The benefits of sound baths are many including: reducing stress and anxiety, quieting internal and external noise, decreasing tension and fatigue, increasing focus and clarity, improving sleep, regulating your nervous system with deep relaxation and rejuvenation, and increasing mindfulness and feeling present.

Gabrielle plays a variety of instruments, making each sound bath a unique experience. You will enjoy a Chinese Chau gong, Tibetan bowls, singing crystal bowls, swinging meditation chimes, crystal pyramid, crystal harp, ocarina drone flute, a variety of chimes, steel tongue drum, and seed shakers.

Each sound bath you attend is a unique, one-of-a-kind experience, as no two sessions are ever the same. The beauty of sound baths lies in their fluid, ever-evolving nature. The sounds you are enveloped in during each session are shaped by a variety of factors, creating a dynamic and personalized experience every time you attend.

Whether you’re looking to deepen your yoga practice, reduce stress, or find balance between your mind, body, and spirit, a sound bath is a sacred addition that enhances every aspect of your wellness journey.

Frequently asked questions about mobility:

What is mobility? Mobility involves our joints’ ability to move freely and actively.  Mobility exercises stretch and strengthen the connective tissues around our joints to increase their range of motion.

Is it the same as stretching? Stretching involves deliberately lengthening the muscle to achieve an extended range of motion. Mobility is the ability of a joint to move actively through a range of motion. Mobility is stretching the muscle using strength to control the movement through our safest range.

We need both active and passive range of motion. Active will always be less but with mobility work, the goal is to get closer to passive with active range. Mobility helps us find more range with more control.

Range of Motion: the degree of movement a joint has available.

Flexibility: the ability of a muscle or muscle groups to lengthen passively through a range of motion.

Mobility: the ability of a joint to move actively through a range of motion.

Why do we need it? Mobility can help enhance our exercise practices like yoga, running, weightlifting, walking, and more by helping us move more safely and dynamically. Mobility can also help us meet the demands of everyday life more easily whether it’s picking up your kids, playing with your dog, gardening, or everyday household chores.
