STUDIO MANAGER
Job Description: Studio Manager of yogaRIOT
Location: Portland, OR
Reports To: CEO
Position Type: Part-Time, with Potential to Transition to Full-Time; Hybrid
About yogaRIOT:
At yogaRIOT, we are a dynamic and rapidly growing yoga studio committed to providing transformative wellness experiences. We’re looking for a passionate and driven Studio Manager to help oversee the daily operations.
Position Overview:
The Studio Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of yogaRIOT including:
- Ensuring smooth business operations for both staff & students, while overseeing excellent customer experiences.
- This position is initially part-time with the potential to transition to full-time as the studio grows.
This role requires a proactive leader who can manage multiple tasks, and enjoys taking initiative to complete tasks at hand. The Studio Manager keeps things running smoothly at the studio, ensures operational excellence, and inspires the team to work cohesively.
Key Responsibilities:
Studio Operations:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the studio
- Ensure high-quality customer service and operational excellence across all areas of the business.
- Handle staffing needs, including: training, and the development of new team members.
- Assist with customer segmentation, data maintenance, and reporting as needed.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead by example and help foster a positive, inclusive, and a feel good environment in your interactions with the team, students, and community
- Lead and manage staff, including front desk personnel and instructors, ensuring smooth communication and strong team dynamics.
Customer Experience:
- Ensure exceptional service for all clients and customers, addressing any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Maintain a strong presence when at the studio - interacting with clients, gathering feedback, and making improvements where needed.
- Foster a welcoming and supportive atmosphere, ensuring clients feel comfortable and motivated to achieve their wellness goals.
Marketing & Community Engagement:
- Update website content and landing pages for new campaigns, events, and seasonal promotions, ensuring information is current and accurate.
Qualifications:
- 1-4 years of experience in a leadership or management role, preferably in a fitness, wellness, or hospitality environment.
- Strong understanding of studio operations
- Proven ability to lead
- Experience with sales preferred, or willingness to learn
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Passion for wellness and yoga, with a strong commitment to providing an exceptional experience for both clients and staff.
- Familiarity with studio management software (e.g., Momence, Mindbody, etc.) is a plus.

Compensation:
- Competitive hourly rate, based on experience, with the potential to transition into a full-time salary.
